In the prestigious magazine of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure e Laboratori di Restauro di Firenze there is an article entitled "The use of fire-retardant fabrics in the conservation of textile artefacts: experimental analyzes on COEX® technology".
In the study of conservation and restoration issues, the ODP, a body dependent on the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, in collaboration with the CNR (National Council for Research) has demonstrated that COEX® cotton satin fabrics can be proposed for the lining that preserves and protects the delicate ancient tapestries.
