 Why COEX and NOVAMONT are at the International Salone del Gusto?

One of the mail point in the statute of Slow Food, the association that organize the Salone del Gusto in Turin, is “to solicit the public opinion towards environmental issues”.

This is the reason why COEX technology had a very warm welcome from the team of Salone del Gusto that promoted it putting the brand on the ribbon badge holder.

This is an important acknowledgment for this innovation that render natural fabrics fire proof , a performance that was only allowed to synthetic fabrics so far.

Novamont, an Italian company that invented the MaterBi, biodegradable material of plant origin that replaces the plastic in many cases, took part and sponsored the event of the Salone del Gusto for years.

Both the product Novamont and COEX are biodegradable products and they replace materials derived from petroleum. Their life cycle is circular, the material returns to the earth from which it came.
