25 years of Proposte

COEX celebrates the anniversary of Proposte 2017, an exclusive event, now in its 25th year, for entrepreneurs working in furnishing fabric and curtains, with an increasingly international and green outlook, featuring our historical partners, as well as innovative new collections from new partnerships.

The 2017 edition of Proposte, the world preview of furnishing fabrics and curtains, takes place this year from 3 to 5 May against the unmistakable scenic backdrop of Villa Erba in Cernobbio and celebrates a landmark birthday this year: 25 years of research and innovation.
In a quarter of a century, Proposte has enjoyed steady growth and a major internationalisation process, making it an exclusive showcase for the latest collections in furnishing fabrics and curtains. 

COEX celebrates this important edition with the presence of its historical partners Redaelli Velluti, Lodetex and Limonta, and with the début of innovative new collections from new collaborations with producers such as: L’albero della Cuccagna / Alessandro Bini Tessuti d’Italia, company proudly made in Italy; Tendaggi Paradiso, specializing in innovative fabrics for curtains and domestic and office furniture; Casalegno Tendaggi of Chieri, the historic land of weavers; Torri Lana, historic and modern brand of yarns made from cotton, linen and wool.
 
Moreover, the latest editions of Proposte confirm the growing market interest in innovative, green fabrics. COEX is the only technology that enhances its natural fibres by making them fireproof. 

COEX’s naturalness and safety set this year’s “Proposte made of COEX 2017” apart,  in mixed linen, more than 50 colours, in the L’Albero della Cuccagna/Alessandro Bini Tessuti d’Italia showroom at Via Regina 16; in linen and chenille fabric of Tendaggi Paradiso at the showroom 36; those tending towards Villa Erba in Casalegno Tendaggi (at Lario stand 15) and Torri Lana (at Cernobbio, stand 35).

Strictly 100% natural and completely fireproof made of COEX woven fabrics by Redaelli Velluti that at Proposte 2017 (at Lario, stand 22) presents the made of COEX Redaelli NATURALLY FR new collection; the linen and cotton for Lodetex curtains (at Cernobbio, stand 60); and the linen fabrics for Limonta seats (at Lario, stand 31).

The made of COEX collections are becoming increasingly trendy because of their naturalness and safety - they do not burn, drip, or give off harmful fumes like dioxin, they are resistant to higher temperatures and are suitable for dry cleaning and cleaning in any type of washing machine or industrial machine - for the excellent comfort and aesthetic - it is the only fireproof natural fibre that can also be made total white.

At Redaelli Velluti and L’albero della Cuccagna/Alessandro Bini Tessuti d’Italia, COEX will “open the doors” of its world of nature, safety and comfort, with a natural wood display designed ad hoc by the Calvi Brambilla studio.
